NEWQUAY
DINNER
Kilbirnie
Hotel, Newquay. Saturday 23rd. May, 2009. Bar 6 p.m.
Dinner 8 p.m.
Those attending should write to Alan Goss ,
2 Cardell Way, Newquay, Cornwall TR7 2RN and enclose a cheque for
£17 per head to cover the dinner. Alan’s phone no. is 01637 874413.
To book accommodation in the Kilbirnie,
ring the hotel on 01637 875155. Tell reception you are attending the
Shackleton function on 23/05/09 and you will get B.& B. for £35 per
head per night.
As in the past 5 or 6 years, the plan is to
visit St. Eval church on the Sunday morning, followed by a visit to
the St. Mawgan Shackleton and its splendid little museum. After this
, we will go to the combined officers/sgts. Mess for a refresher.
